The RiverScape Bike Hub, part of Phase III of the RiverScape MetroPark development, houses bike storage, showers, lockers and a concession area. L&A was selected to perform indoor air quality testing at the completion of construction activities to meet requirements Environmental Credit 3.2 (Construction IAQ Management Plan, Before Occupancy) as detailed in LEED for New Construction, Version 2.2. L&A worked with the team to develop a cost-effective sampling approach that had the least impact to the schedule, but still satisfied LEED requirements. Preliminary results were communicated to the client on the date of the site visit, and a comprehensive report of findings, in a format suitable for direct upload to the USGBC site, was generated within two weeks of completion of testing activities. USGBC concurred with L&A’s technical approach and findings and the project was awarded 1 point for this credit.
