Lawhon provided Maintenance Plan Advisor Services for the Whitehall City Schools Capital Improvement Project, which included the construction of five new facilities. The Maintenance plan included a detailed Maintenance Business Plan (MBP) and a Facility Maintenance Report specific to each facility and site. The MBP compared projected maintenance and capital renewal costs to the current District budget. Gaps were identified and recommendations made to facilitate the maintenance of the facilities. The Facility Maintenance Report contained the equipment inventory, warranty management, preventive maintenance, inspection and custodial information. Assessments comparing projected maintenance and custodial staff were used to determine staffing levels, assignments and outsourcing requirements. Custom floor plans were also created to assist the District maintenance and custodial staff with daily tasks. L&A assisted Whitehall personnel in the population and implementation of the Maintenance Management Software (Public School Works), which would allow the district to track user requested maintenance and better plan for ongoing maintenance.
