L&A completed the Historic American Engineering (HAER) documentation for three railroad bridges within the city of Toledo, Ohio. All three bridges were slated for removal and the HAER documentation was required for mitigation given all three were eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The HAER documentation included historic context from primary and secondary sources, structural/engineering/design information, and detailed photographs in an archival quality format. The HAER documentation was submitted to the Ohio State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) with no agency comments upon review. The submittal is currently on file at the State Library of Ohio.
