GREATER CLEVELAND RAPID TRANSIT AUTHORITY
The Greater Cleveland Rapid Transit Authority (GCRTA), proposed a project to improve lighting, landscaping, and transportation amenities along Clifton Boulevard within the cities of Cleveland and Lakewood. Included were pavement replacement, curb/sidewalk improvements, a roadway median, crosswalk improvements and bus stop/bus shelters. The project was located within the boundaries of the Lakewood National Register of Historic Places eligible district. L&A was responsible for the Historic Properties Evaluation Report for Section 106 Review and making a recommendation on the Determination of Effect by the proposed project to cultural resources in the project area. The Ohio Historic Preservation Office concurred with L&A’s recommended finding of No Adverse Effect.
