Lawhon conducted an Environmental Site Assessment Screening for the Frederic Road, Candy Run East and Candy Run West wetland/stream mitigation areas included in the SR 823 Portsmouth Bypass project. The scope of services included a visual assessment of the largely agricultural areas, a review of aerial photography and an environmental database records review. It was determined that the sites did not warrant a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment based on the scope of proposed construction activities. All activities were performed in accordance with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Environmental Site Assessment Guidelines Manual.
