To date, Lawhon has completed hazardous building material surveys of more than 30 building under this 5-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) task order contract. These assessments have been completed for planning purposes or in anticipation of building renovation and building demolition to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Emissions Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP). For those projects in design phase, abatement specifications were prepared to address asbestos, mercury and PCB containing materials. The majority of assignments have required a fast-track approach, with security clearance, fieldwork and reporting tasks completed in less than 30 days
