L&A has provided hazardous materials consulting services, including building assessment, abatement design, budget and schedule development and project oversight, at more than 45 facilities throughout the district. Projects have ranged in size and scope from $20,000 to $400,000, and included both selective and comprehensive abatement during building demolition, facility and mechanical upgrades and major renovation. For the majority of these buildings, L&A was contracted directly by Columbus City Schools, with responsibilities that included working with contractors and design professionals who were part of the team.
