For almost twenty years, Lawhon & Associates, Inc. professionals
have been offering guidance with regulatory issues associated with property
development or transfers, including those that may have wetlands issues.
Landowners value land in many different ways. L&A’s wetlands
professionals look closely at each property and are sensitive to the
economic value of land. We also carefully consider each landowner's long
and short-range plans and expectations for the property, as well as the
owner’s present economic condition.
Over the last two years, L&A has performed more than 50 wetlands
evaluations, delineations and mitigations throughout the state of Ohio
for agricultural, commercial and industrial properties. We have implemented
engineering controls for water flows, site grading plans and vegetative
plantings. L&A works in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
the Ohio EPA, as well as the National Resource Conservation Service and
other interested parties.
