Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

L&A runs the trench water management program for the Airport expansion project. The Department of Port Control is adding two new runways to the site, which involves moving an extensive amount of earth. During the excavation, moving and backfill process, L&A manages the potentially impacted water (surface or groundwater) generated by the project. The management involves moving the water from the collection points to our onsite water processing facility. Processing the water and storing it in FRAC tanks, sampling the water for contaminants and discharging in storm or POTW sewers, or treating the water based on the analytical data. L&A designed and installed the water treatment facility and manages the entire process for the duration of the expansion project.
