Lawhon
and Associates, Inc. was contracted by a major development company to
determine the environmental costs for residential redevelopment of
the property. In order to estimate the remediation costs, environmental
records were reviewed to select soil and ground water sampling locations.
The purpose of the first subsurface investigation was to determine if
there were any environmental impacts and to help determine where to construct
ground water wells to evaluate ground water. All work was directed by
L&A’s Ohio EPA Voluntary Action Program Certified Professional
so that the field data could be incorporated into a Clean Ohio Revitalization
Funds application.
