Site and Roadway Construction Company

A Health and Safety Plan (HASP) plan was developed by Lawhon and Associates, Inc. to identify and advise the construction company workers and subcontractors of health and safety hazards encountered during soil excavation activities at hydrocarbon contaminated release sites. The scope of work covered by the plan included soil excavation and construction work occurring in petroleum contaminated soil. The plan covered proper Personal Protective Equipment, exposure precautions and safe handling information. Also, excavation safety was covered and site safety issues. As a part of the program training on the various aspects of the program were covered with the client and his staff as well as a self-teach section being included in the program.
