L&A completed a Spill Prevention and Controls and Countermeasure
(SPCC) plan for a 170-acre business park located near Port Columbus Airport
in Columbus, Ohio. Several facilities in this business park utilize fueling
facilities in their operations. The facility has two 50,000-gallon above-ground
storage tanks containing aviation fuel. Because a stream flows near the
facility, L&A had to devise engineering controls to prevent any spills
from entering the creek.
