L&A performed a baseline indoor air quality assessment at the a
large downtown high-rise. L&A’s Industrial Hygienist monitored
for carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, temperature, relative humidity and
particulates. This was performed to address occupant complaints. L&A
industrial hygienists provided ventilation recommendations based upon
current standards established by the ASHRAE and management procedures
based on the USEPA guidelines to reduce and otherwise control IAQ contaminants.
L&A also performed an indoor air quality assessment of a 360,000
square foot government facility managed by this same company. This assessment
was part of an ongoing proactive sampling plan to prevent indoor air
quality problems in the facility.
