Lawhon & Associates, Inc. (L&A) inspected the air emission sources, prepared air emission calculations, and prepared the applicable Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) Permit to Install (PTI) and Permit to Operate (PTO) applications for the Paint Spray Booth at the Columbus Facility.

The process was reviewed to determine if the Potential to Emit (PTE) of each criteria pollutant (VOC or PM). This information was then compared with PTI regulations codified in Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 3745-31 and PTO regulations codified in OAC 3745-35. The scope of work was designed to reduce Crucial Air’s cost to determine the necessity for air permits. Permits from the city building inspection offices and the EPA were completed for the client.
