Community Redevelopment Corporation Near a Large University

Since 1997, Lawhon & Associates, Inc. has been the environmental consultant for all redevelopment property acquisitions for this non-profit “university’ extension. Along with the University, this $150 million dollar redevelopment will completely change the appearance of the off campus atmosphere surrounding one of the nation’s largest universities. To date, L&A has performed environmental assessments on more than 50 properties. Asbestos surveys were conducted for buildings that were demolished as well as renovated. Work has also included PCB sampling and analysis, underground storage tank removal and emergency response.
